Wedoany.com Report on Mar 11th, Grafana Labs announced a strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) aimed at accelerating the adoption of open observability on the AWS platform. This collaboration will help customers more easily adopt, migrate, and scale observability capabilities on Grafana Cloud, enabling teams to effectively monitor, analyze, and act on data within their AWS environments.

As enterprises accelerate digital transformation and scale operations, the need to turn data signals into actionable insights within complex systems is becoming increasingly urgent. Cloud-native architectures and distributed workloads heighten the demand for observability while posing challenges for teams in maintaining system reliability and efficiency. By deepening their collaboration, Grafana Labs and AWS aim to reduce implementation barriers for customers, leverage AI to shorten time-to-value, and provide greater flexibility through open standards and ecosystems.

Under the agreement, Grafana Labs will offer customers several innovative capabilities. AI features like Grafana Assistant can simplify investigation workflows, guide troubleshooting, and help teams quickly derive insights from data, reducing the time engineers spend on data queries. The efficient, scalable platform built on AWS helps control costs and reduce operational overhead through adaptive telemetry. Full-stack open observability integrates metrics, logs, traces, and events, breaking down data silos and helping teams understand complex systems faster.

As part of the collaboration, Grafana Labs plans to leverage AWS programs and funding to support customer growth, including using AWS credits to help new customers launch Grafana services and transact on the AWS Marketplace. The company will also participate in the AWS ISV Workload Migration Program to assist customers in migrating to Grafana's managed observability solutions on AWS, alleviating the operational burden on teams as they scale monitoring capabilities.

Ash Mazhari, Vice President of Corporate Development at Grafana Labs, stated: "By deepening our collaboration with AWS, we are accelerating customer adoption and scaling of Grafana on AWS. This agreement enables us to collaborate more effectively with AWS while reducing customer barriers through market access, migration support, and investments in education and community. Together, we help organizations gain faster, more actionable insights from their observability data as they grow in the cloud."

Oren Lion, Director of Software Engineering at TeleTracking, noted: "Our ability to deliver reliable healthcare operations technology depends on clear, actionable visibility across our entire AWS environment. By unifying telemetry data in Grafana Cloud, we've established centralized visibility and effectively scaled our ability to monitor critical workflows. This integration—now enhanced by AI-driven insights from Grafana Assistant—has significantly reduced our Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR). The deepened collaboration between Grafana Labs and AWS gives us confidence in scaling observability alongside our cloud footprint."

Allison Johnson, Director of Technology Partnerships for the Americas at AWS, said: "Grafana Cloud on AWS enables organizations to operate complex systems at scale with the observability they need. Through AI-driven insights that cut through the noise, seamless procurement via AWS Marketplace, and comprehensive migration support, customers can reduce the burden of managing observability infrastructure and focus more on delivering exceptional customer outcomes."

This collaboration underscores the value Grafana Labs and AWS provide in offering flexibility and unlocking greater business value for customers across industries. As an open observability cloud provider, Grafana Labs' platform, Grafana Cloud, empowers organizations to see, understand, and act on their disparate data. It currently serves over 25 million users and more than 7,000 customers, including Anthropic, Bloomberg, and Microsoft.
