en.Wedoany.com Reported - Ensemble Real Estate has commenced early construction on a residential development at 2263 Calle Del Mundo in Santa Clara, California, with the first residents expected to move in by 2028. The project is named Parkside, inspired by the extensive parklands and greenbelts surrounding the site.
Newly released renderings showcase a classic podium structure, with upper floors arranged around a three-story courtyard and pool terrace. The exterior primarily features gray and white cement panels, complemented by wooden elements for a soft appearance. The main entrance and circulation areas are set back behind a two-story colonnade, while the sides and rear of the building maintain a consistent style with the upper floors.

The project scale aligns with previous reports, with the building reaching up to eight stories and integrating multiple amenity spaces to provide up to 301 new residential units. The unit mix includes 57 studios, 158 one-bedroom units, 80 two-bedroom units, 4 three-bedroom units, and two live-work units.
Ensemble Real Estate emphasizes the project's extensive amenities, including an elevated pool terrace/courtyard, a cinema, a game room, a karaoke lounge, a fitness center, a golf simulator, a podcast studio, a zen garden, a dog spa, a barbecue area, and a sky deck. Such community facilities help alleviate potential residents' concerns about Santa Clara's still-developing area, which currently offers limited walkable neighborhood commercial options.
The project site is part of the Tasman East Specific Plan, approved by the City of Santa Clara in 2018, which aims to significantly redevelop the area along Tasman Drive in the northern part of the city. As the area continues to develop, it is expected to form a dense, walkable community with abundant residential and commercial options. Future residents will be within walking distance of the Great America Amtrak station and the Lick Mill VTA light rail station. Ensemble Real Estate also plans to provide 308 parking spaces and 151 bicycle storage spaces.
