The agreement includes the long-term deployment of HydroFlex® technology across multiple future facilities, serving as a key component for Abundia to achieve its Final Investment Decision (FID). Ed Gillespie, CEO of Abundia, stated: "With the technical guidance from our engineering partner Nexus PMG, we are confident in selecting Topsoe's commercial-scale upgrading process. HydroFlex® is recognized for its performance, reliability, and ability to produce high-quality renewable fuels and chemicals, meeting international standards. Integrating Topsoe's solution reduces development risk, enhances the bankability of the technology configuration, and supports the 2026 commercialization plan."

Henrik Rasmussen, Managing Director of Topsoe Americas, added: "Topsoe's technology is facilitating the conversion of liquefied plastic waste into fuels. This project will increase the production of renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel in the United States. We are delighted that Abundia has chosen HydroFlex® for this milestone project and look forward to its commissioning." The collaboration combines Abundia and Alterra's front-end conversion technology with Topsoe's back-end upgrading capabilities, supporting a vertically integrated waste valorization model to produce commercial-grade renewable fuels and chemicals that meet global regulatory standards.

Key highlights of the partnership include long-term technology alignment to support scale-up, enhanced competitive positioning based on geographic exclusivity terms, and independent technical validation by Nexus PMG, ensuring a capital-efficient and compliant commercialization pathway. This collaboration strengthens Abundia's strategic position in the waste-to-renewable-fuels sector.
