en.Wedoany.com Report on Mar 27th, Rikant Pittie, Co-founder and CEO of the travel platform EaseMyTrip, has purchased an apartment in Mumbai's Andheri West for ₹159 crore, achieving a price of over ₹70,000 per square foot on carpet area and setting a new record for the highest-priced real estate transaction in the western suburbs to date. The apartment is located on the 39th floor of the DLF The West Park project in Andheri West, with a RERA carpet area of 2,078 square feet, plus a 162 square foot balcony, totaling 2,240 square feet. The sale price translates to ₹76,500 per square foot on RERA carpet area and ₹70,967 per square foot on carpet area.

This real estate transaction includes three parking slots and was registered on November 14, 2025, incurring stamp duty of over ₹9.5 lakh and a registration fee of ₹30,000. The previously reported second-highest per square foot price in the western suburbs was from Oberoi Realty's sale of an 8,500 square foot penthouse in Mumbai's Goregaon for ₹55 crore, exceeding ₹64,000 per square foot. Pittie had earlier made headlines this year for purchasing a commercial property in Gurugram for ₹99.34 crore. That property is located in Sector 32, Gurugram, with a total land area of 43,594 square feet and a total built-up area of 100,429 square feet.

This transaction reflects the continued activity in Mumbai's luxury residential market. In 2023, MakeMyTrip founder Deep Kalra sold an apartment in Gurugram's DLF Magnolias to co-founder Rajesh Magow for ₹33 crore. In recent years, high-rise residential projects in Mumbai's western suburbs have consistently attracted high-net-worth individuals due to their views and amenities.
