They visited the Tongzhou experimental base, the near-zero energy demonstration building, and the BIM technology exhibition hall. Xu Jiefeng, Party Secretary and Chairman of CABR, along with Xiao Congzhen, Chief Expert and Executive Vice President of the Institute of Building Research, participated in the discussions.
Xu Jiefeng extended a warm welcome to Li Ruobing and his delegation. He stated that CABR has long been deeply engaged in key areas such as quality housing construction, urban renewal, urban health assessment, building green energy efficiency, building digitalization, and safety resilience, establishing an integrated system that synergizes scientific research innovation, standard setting, and industrial transformation. Currently, the green transformation of urban and rural construction, digital upgrading, and the enhancement of urban quality have become core directions for industry development. He expressed hope that both sides would leverage their respective strengths, focusing on areas such as livable housing construction in cold regions, urban renewal and health assessment in high-latitude cold areas, near-zero energy buildings, and the practical application of BIM technology, to establish a long-term collaborative mechanism, continuously deepen technical exchanges, share achievements, and conduct joint research, collectively promoting high-quality development in the construction industry.
Li Ruobing expressed gratitude for CABR's long-standing technical support. He noted that due to the unique high-latitude cold climate of Heilongjiang, the construction of livable housing in cold regions, urban renewal, urban health assessment, building energy conservation and carbon reduction, and building digital upgrading are local construction priorities, urgently requiring empowerment from cutting-edge technologies, standard systems, and research resources.
