en.Wedoany.com Reported - After 45 years of waiting, JCB has officially launched its access platform range in Brazil, marking the first entry of this business line into the Brazilian market since its inception within the company, and a key step in its strategy to cover the country's main production sectors.

The product line enters Brazil across three fronts. Electric scissor lifts are first introduced for the logistics, retail, and industrial sectors, suitable for warehouses, distribution centers, and similar locations. Subsequently, boom lifts will target construction, event setup, and agriculture. The telescopic boom product line covers large-scale infrastructure projects, demanding job sites, and agriculture with long-reach models. Filipe Novacoski, Sales Manager for the JCB Access product line, told M&T Magazine that the line aims to deliver maximum productivity and focuses on the specificities of each application area.

The initial product portfolio for the Brazilian market includes scissor lifts with working heights between 7.78 meters and 15.8 meters, boom lifts from 15.84 meters to 20.3 meters, and telescopic boom lifts at 21.92 meters. The machine introduction timeline has begun, with the first units expected to arrive in Brazil by the end of September. They will initially be used for demonstrations to strategic customers and partners, building a pipeline for the coming years.

JCB began manufacturing access platforms in 1981. Over the decades, the company has expanded the product line in terms of load capacity, working height, and drive systems, incorporating safety improvements and electronic controls. In the current line launched in Brazil, electric models use AGM deep-cycle batteries, offering zero emissions in enclosed environments and featuring intelligent drive characteristics. Diesel models are equipped with Kohler and JCB Ecomax engines, suitable for heavy-duty operations. Novacoski also mentioned that current models include the A45E (electric) and A45EH (diesel-electric hybrid) boom lifts, launched in 2023.

These platforms optimize load capacity for operators and tools. Machines come equipped with the JCB LiveLink telematics system for real-time fleet monitoring. Additionally, customers can rely on JCB's rapid after-sales service to reduce equipment downtime.

Novacoski stated that this initiative positions JCB as a comprehensive solution provider in the Brazilian capital goods market. Customers using JCB excavators, telehandlers, and skid steer loaders can now meet their access needs with the same brand. The expansion of the local product portfolio also brings the company closer to key players in infrastructure, industry, and services.
