Volkmann has also launched a new Quick Ship program, enabling delivery of new VS series vacuum conveyors in as little as two weeks.

The expansion consolidates design engineering, manufacturing, assembly, quality control, shipping, and related operations within the same facility. Volkmann noted that this integrated layout aims to streamline production processes, improve efficiency, and support consistent on-time delivery.

The upgraded plant also features a new on-site test laboratory, equipped with a fully functional pneumatic vacuum conveying system for large-scale 3D printing automation, bulk bag unloaders, feeders, and metal powder handling equipment. Customers can use this laboratory to evaluate equipment performance and validate material handling processes.

Volkmann USA noted that its headquarters in Bristol, Pennsylvania, still maintains a similar test laboratory, where North American customers can conduct product and material testing on full-scale conveying systems.
