en.Wedoany.com Reported - Ace Crane Systems, a UAE-based crane dealer and manufacturer, has completed the installation and commissioning of six ABUS 15-ton double-girder electric overhead cranes at a new steel manufacturing facility in the country.

Supplied by Germany's ABUS Overhead Cranes, these cranes are installed across two production bays and are designed for intensive steel mill duty cycles, with a span of 24,000 mm and a lifting height of 10,000 mm. Each unit is equipped with a wireless joystick radio remote control and features an independent floor-mounted pendant control box as an auxiliary operation option.

The system complies with DIN 15018 standards, with a rated duty cycle of FEM 2m/M5 and an IP 55 protection rating. The cranes are powered by an enclosed conductor system, delivering 320A along a 194-meter runway per bay. The equipment structure has been sandblasted and coated with a three-layer epoxy ABUS C2 paint system in RAL 1007 color.

Following extensive planning and coordination by the project team, a full-day load test was conducted on-site to verify the performance and safety of the new equipment. The company stated that the full-day load test was completed safely on-site, thanks to meticulous planning, skilled execution, and close collaboration among all participating teams.

Ace Crane Systems' business covers the design, manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning of cranes and material handling equipment. The company operates a facility in the Hamriyah Free Zone in Sharjah, sourcing electromechanical components from overseas partners and manufacturing the main girder structures locally. With over 250 employees, the company manages all sales, engineering, and service activities in-house, including crane assembly, testing, and after-sales maintenance, while maintaining ISO 9001 (2008) certification for its production processes. Ace Crane Systems serves a wide range of industrial clients and completed the installation of ABUS overhead cranes at a luxury yacht manufacturing facility in August 2025.
