en.Wedoany.com Reported - French security company Verisure has launched a residential security solution integrating technical equipment and human monitoring to address the high incidence of burglaries during holiday periods. Data from the French Ministry of the Interior (source: SSMSI) shows that burglaries increase significantly in July and August, with a second peak in December. Burglars can identify unoccupied homes through signs such as closed shutters, overflowing mailboxes, and prolonged darkness, and can even recognize properties without alarm systems.

Verisure's solution is based on connected detectors, remote monitoring, and instant deterrence. Its product line includes the external video outdoor detector Aquila, which integrates motion sensors and a speaker, directly connected to a remote monitoring center; users can monitor the exterior of their home day and night using the Arlo Pro 5 connected camera controlled via the Arlo Secure application, and receive recordings (retained for 7 days). Internal monitoring is handled by Arlo series indoor cameras equipped with high-definition video, a 130-degree wide-angle lens, and day/night vision. Additionally, the system offers vibration and door opening detectors, an Arlo video doorbell, and an Arlo SmartHub.
When the system detects suspicious activity, remote monitoring personnel can issue a direct verbal warning via the intercom system, activate a siren and a dry smoke generator to disrupt intruders, and notify the police. System installation is carried out by security experts based on the specific structure and layout of the home. If a burglary occurs while the homeowner is away, Verisure also offers on-site caretaking services (subject to customer costs and availability depending on the region).
