en.Wedoany.com Reported - Swiss repairable composite materials technology company CompPair Technologies Ltd. and carbon fiber component specialist manufacturer Adultimum AG announced on June 30, 2026, that the two parties are collaborating to evaluate the industrial applicability of CompPair's HealTech™ repairable resin in high-speed Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) production processes. As of June 30, the two companies have successfully completed automated production trials of sporting goods using HealTech materials. CompPair stated that HealTech materials can be processed through automated workflows, marking a significant step toward adopting more durable composite solutions in high-performance applications.

CompPair Technologies Ltd., founded in 2020, is a spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL). The company was co-founded by Dr. Amaël Cohades (CEO), Robin Trigueira (CTO), and Professor Véronique Michaud (Scientific Advisor). Headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, the company currently has 25 team members. CompPair's core technology, HealTech™, is a thermosetting resin system that enables fiber-reinforced polymer matrix composites to repair matrix damage—including delamination, microcracks, and scratches—within one minute through localized heating (100°C to 150°C). This technology improves composite crack resistance by 30%, damping by 80%, offers repair speeds 400 times faster than conventional industry technologies, and can undergo more than 60 repair cycles.

Adultimum AG is a carbon fiber composite component specialist manufacturer headquartered in Gossau, Switzerland. The company focuses on manufacturing processes for carbon fiber composite components and holds multiple patents in composite molding technologies. Adultimum is also the technical partner of the golf brand Golfyr, the only manufacturer in the world mastering the complete set of 100% carbon fiber golf club manufacturing processes.

This collaboration focuses on integrating CompPair's HealTech™ repairable resin system into high-speed RTM production processes. RTM is an advanced composite molding process where resin is injected into fiber reinforcement within a closed mold and cured through heating, suitable for large-scale production of complex-shaped components. The core goal of the partnership is to verify the adaptability and process efficiency of repairable composite resin in industrial-scale, fast-cycle production environments beyond the laboratory. To date, the two parties have successfully completed automated production trials of sporting goods. CompPair expressed anticipation for advancing the project in the next testing phase.

This collaboration represents a crucial step for CompPair in moving its HealTech™ technology from laboratory validation to practical industrial application. Previously, CompPair has established strategic partnerships with organizations such as SHD Composites, Salomon, and Swiss Federal Railways. If HealTech™ technology can be successfully scaled in high-speed RTM processes, it is expected to significantly extend the service life of composite components, reduce maintenance costs, and minimize environmental impact.
