en.Wedoany.com Reported - DP World and Lintara Properties, the real estate development platform of Arcapita Group Holdings Limited (Arcapita), have broken ground on a 20,000-square-meter built-to-suit logistics center in the Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza). Developed by Lintara Properties, the Grade A facility will be operated by DP World upon completion as part of its integrated end-to-end supply chain network in the region. Construction is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027.
The new facility will feature approximately 12-meter clear height storage areas, temperature-controlled zones, dedicated hazardous goods storage, supporting office space, and related operational amenities. Ahmad Yousef Al-Hassan, CEO and Managing Director of DP World for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, stated that this advanced facility represents the type of logistics infrastructure customers need to manage more complex supply chains. Upon completion, it will add Grade A dedicated warehousing capacity in Jebel Ali Free Zone and support the company's efforts to provide more integrated supply chain solutions in the GCC region, once again demonstrating that Dubai's trade ecosystem continues to evolve in response to the needs of regional and international businesses.
Isa Al Khalifa, Managing Director, Head of Real Estate for the Middle East and North Africa at Arcapita Group, and CEO of Lintara Properties, noted that this milestone reflects the company's ongoing focus on delivering high-quality, dedicated logistics assets that meet tenant operational requirements. Jebel Ali Free Zone remains a key logistics hub in the region, and this project supports the growing demand for well-located, institutional-grade facilities that enable efficient distribution and long-term operational reliability. The project reflects the sustained demand in Dubai for high-quality, dedicated logistics infrastructure as companies strengthen regional supply chains and expand distribution capabilities near major trade corridors. Lintara Properties will serve as development manager during the construction phase and assume asset management responsibilities upon facility completion. This development is part of Arcapita Group's broader strategy to invest in high-quality, tenant-oriented industrial properties in key regional logistics hubs.
