en.Wedoany.com Reported - Poland is conducting an economic equilibrium test on Leo Express's newly launched international rail service, preventing its direct trains to Poland from operating as originally planned.

The service began operations last week but has not yet fully implemented the originally planned direct trains from Frankfurt to Przemyśl. Currently, Leo Express operates trains between Frankfurt, Prague, and Bohumín. Passengers traveling to Poland need to transfer to buses in Bohumín, connecting to Kraków, Tarnów, Rzeszów, and Przemyśl.

The operator stated that this temporary arrangement is related to the ongoing economic equilibrium test in Poland. Once the regulatory process is completed, the full rail service to Przemyśl is planned to be launched. Westbound trains depart Bohumín at 17:45, arrive in Prague at 22:32, and continue overnight via Dresden, Leipzig, Fulda, and Hanau, arriving at Frankfurt Airport around 08:26 on specific dates. Eastbound trains depart Frankfurt Airport at 14:39, arrive in Prague after 01:00, and terminate in Bohumín at 06:01.

The service uses modern international RIC carriages equipped with air conditioning and Wi-Fi. Leo Express plans to add business class and sleeper carriages in the future as the route develops. Due to infrastructure construction in Germany, schedules and stops may vary by day. Leo Express recommends passengers check the latest timetable through its booking system before traveling.
