Fleet operations management and payments have historically operated in two separate ecosystems. Fleets manage vehicles and maintenance costs on the Fleetio platform, while fuel and fleet expenses are managed through fuel card providers. This separation results in an incomplete understanding of total vehicle ownership costs and requires hours of manual reconciliation each month.

The new integrated experience bridges this gap by consolidating data. Fleet managers can not only synchronize data between the two systems but also apply for and manage Coast cards directly within Fleetio. Coast's fleet, fuel, and maintenance purchases reside entirely within Fleetio, with each transaction automatically matched to the correct vehicle, driver, and business cost center. This provides fleet managers with more accurate miles-per-gallon, cost-per-mile, and total cost of ownership reports without the need for spreadsheets. Fleetio customers can also use Coast cards at their maintenance shop network and enjoy reduced transaction fees.
