en.Wedoany.com Reported - Australia's Enviroline has launched the Ranger 50 series, an Australian-made trailer-mounted water jetting unit available in two models, the R50D and R50T, which can be towed by standard multi-purpose vehicles or light trucks, enabling crews to access urban sites as well as remote or hard-to-reach locations for clearing pipe blockages, root intrusion, and sediment buildup.
Pipe maintenance requires a combination of pressure, flow, and mobility. For regional councils, equipment especially needs to be reliable, transportable, and easy to operate across dispersed networks. The R50D and R50T versions differ in control and safety features. The R50D uses a traditional diesel engine and control system, focusing on consistent performance and simple operation.
Enviroline Sales Representative Peter Sinclair stated that the R50T Turbo integrates an intelligent jetting system that monitors operating conditions, including hose pressure and flow, and triggers an automatic shutdown when unsafe situations arise. This system provides additional monitoring and control, particularly suited for teams managing multiple jobs or operating in remote areas. The Turbo model's E Jett Smart system features remote control of hydraulic hose reel functions, allowing operators to work away from the machine while maintaining a safe distance from the manhole and the unit. Sinclair noted that the D model, referred to as the "mechanical model," remains popular due to its simplicity.
The Ranger 50 series offers three performance variants: 70, 100, and 120. The R50‑70 delivers 75 liters per minute at 4000 psi, suitable for clearing stubborn blockages and root intrusion in pipes up to 600mm in diameter. The R50‑100 provides 100 liters per minute at 3000 psi, offering versatility for general sewer and stormwater pipe maintenance in pipes up to 800mm in diameter. The R50‑120 increases water flow to approximately 120 liters per minute at 2300 psi, optimized for flushing larger diameter pipes or moving large volumes of debris over long distances, and can also clean pipelines up to 800mm in diameter.
Sinclair pointed out that the R50‑70 model is the most popular, as most operators are cleaning small pipes ranging from 150 to 300mm in diameter, where blockages commonly occur. The trailer-mounted design incorporates practical features such as hydraulic hose reels, telescopic articulating booms, and easy-to-operate controls, reducing manual labor and enabling operators to efficiently manage cleaning tasks. The heavy-duty chassis and weatherproof engine housing support durability under frequently changing conditions in regional or remote areas. By offering multiple performance configurations on a compact, transportable platform, the Ranger 50 series enables councils and contractors to plan and execute routine maintenance more effectively.
