en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 6, Huadian Engineering Co., Ltd. issued an announcement, stating that the company has signed the "EPC General Contract for Zhejiang Huadian Tonglu Baijiang 88MW Agri-PV Complementary Photovoltaic Power Generation Project" with Huadian New Energy Baijiang (Tonglu) Photovoltaic Power Generation Co., Ltd. The contract amount is approximately RMB 218.6094 million (including tax), with a construction period of 365 days. This EPC general contract marks Huadian Engineering's first EPC project achievement in the flexible support field, covering the entire chain of design, supply, and installation for flexible supports.
According to the announcement, the scope of this EPC general contract includes all construction-related work for the photovoltaic field area, collection lines, and booster station, excluding equipment such as inverters, 35kV box-type transformers, GIS, and main transformers. The project adopts an agri-PV complementary development model, adapted to the terrain characteristics of hilly areas and farmland, developing photovoltaic resources while ensuring agricultural cultivation. Compared with traditional fixed supports, flexible supports feature large spans, high ground clearance, and good light transmission and ventilation, effectively reducing shading impact on the growth of underlying crops.
Since the actual controller of the transaction counterparty, Huadian Baijiang, is China Huadian Group Co., Ltd., the indirect controlling shareholder of Huadian Engineering, this transaction constitutes a related-party transaction. This related-party transaction has been reviewed and approved by the company's first extraordinary shareholders' meeting in 2026, with related shareholders abstaining from voting. Huadian Engineering stated that the pricing of this related-party transaction is fair and reasonable, will not adversely affect the company's independence, and the company maintains complete assets and independent operations.
Taking this project as an opportunity, Huadian Engineering will continue to expand the flexible support market, providing full-process technical support and engineering construction services in the flexible support field.
