China's SEARI and Songying Technology Sign Agreement to Jointly Promote Simulation Data Standards for Humanoid Robots

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Shanghai Robot Industry Technology Research Institute (SEARI), under the Shanghai Electrical Apparatus Research Institute (SEARI), and Shanghai Songying Technology Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Shanghai on July 6. The two parties will focus on three main lines: dataset CR certification, joint construction of an embodied dataset platform, and a simulation dataset evaluation system, to build an integrated cooperation system of "technical services + standard leadership + testing empowerment," advancing the standardization and industrial large-scale implementation of domestic humanoid robot simulation data. Representatives including SEARI President Zheng Junqi, Vice President Tian Jinsong, Songying Technology Founder and CEO Nie Kaixuan, and Co-founder and CTO Huang Wei attended the signing ceremony.

SEARI serves as the implementation carrier of the National Robot Testing and Evaluation Center (Headquarters), providing neutral and compliant data evaluation and certification services. Founded in late 2021, Songying Technology has independently developed the full-stack physical AI operating system ORCA, accumulating rich humanoid robot simulation scenarios and native datasets. This cooperation bridges the gap between simulation data generation and authoritative certification, forming a synergistic model of mutual complementarity between technology and qualifications.

The cooperation includes three aspects. First, Songying Technology's ORCA simulation datasets will undergo full-indicator testing across seven dimensions on the testing platform of the National Robot Testing and Evaluation Center, based on CR certification standards. After compliance verification, a test report and evaluation certificate will be issued.

Second, the two parties will jointly build a joint platform for humanoid robot simulation testing and training, establishing a reproducible and horizontally comparable indicator system for humanoid robot model evaluation, aiming to reduce enterprise costs for physical data collection and accelerate algorithm iteration.

Third, the two parties will jointly establish a simulation data quality evaluation system to assess and conduct compliance testing on humanoid robot simulation data generated by the ORCA system, and develop simulation data standards to provide compliant and reliable data support for model training and algorithm optimization.

Both parties will continue to deepen cooperation, connecting the entire chain from simulation data generation, standard formulation, certification and evaluation, to industrial implementation, helping to overcome common technical bottlenecks in the humanoid robot data field.

Songying Technology is a physical AI simulation infrastructure provider. Its ORCA system features millimeter-level physical precision and the ability to train 4,096 instances in parallel, fully compatible with domestic GPUs and operating systems, and has been selected for the Forbes China AI TOP50.

The China Robot Certification (CR Certification), launched in 2016 by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China, the former General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, together with the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, is the only voluntary high-end certification internationally promoted by the state.
