en.Wedoany.com Reported - NGEx Minerals has released a series of new results from Phase 4 drilling at its Lunahuasi project in San Juan Province, Argentina. The most notable results include an intercept of 57.75 meters grading 9.41% copper, with an exceptionally high-grade 8-meter section grading 37.38% copper, one of the highest grades ever recorded at the project.

NGEx Minerals Chairman and CEO Wojtek Wodzicki emphasized that the new results once again highlight the exploration potential of the Jupiter zone. Wodzicki stated that these results serve as a reminder not to overlook the Jupiter zone, which, despite having fewer drill holes than Saturn or Mars, has demonstrated the potential of this third major zone within the Lunahuasi deposit through intercepts within a 400 x 500 meter area.

The company added that drilling has also extended the Saturn zone by over 100 meters both toward the surface and at depth. The team is currently focused on updating the geological model using all information obtained from Phase 4, which is crucial for planning the next phase of drilling.

The company explained that the Jupiter zone remains open in multiple directions and will be one of the primary targets for Phase 5, while the Saturn zone continues to show extensive lateral and vertical continuity, featuring disseminated mineralization and numerous extremely high-grade veins.

Although Phase 4 drilling has concluded, results from the final five drill holes are still pending and will be reported once laboratory analyses are completed.

The new results reinforce Lunahuasi's status as one of the most promising projects in the San Juan Mountains. The confirmation of high-grade mineralization and the expansion of the mineralized zone enhance the project's potential and strengthen San Juan's position as one of Argentina's leading destinations for copper exploration.
