en.Wedoany.com Reported - Nishio Rent All Japan (Nishio Rent All) exhibited its latest solutions for i-Construction 2.0 and heatstroke countermeasures at the "8th International Construction & Surveying Exhibition (CSPI2026)" (Dates: June 17–20, 2026, Makuhari Messe). In addition to a GX-certified electric backhoe and a bucket equipped with buried object detection functionality, the indoor booth featured a reference-exhibited remote operation cockpit. Outdoors, hands-on demonstrations were conducted, including a cooling tent effective against heatstroke and wearable terminals for monitoring workers' physical conditions.

A highlight of the i-Construction 2.0 exhibition was the remote operation technology for construction machinery. The reference-exhibited cockpit-type remote operation device, the "HRC System," offers flexible operability, distinctly different from the conventional remote-control-type manipulators that Nishio Rent All has been handling for over 20 years.

At this exhibition, images and control signals of the construction machinery were transmitted via optical fiber cables, allowing visitors to operate actual equipment located at the machinery yard in Chiba Prefecture from the cockpit set up in the booth. By developing a cockpit operated with a joystick while seated, it is expected to reduce operator burden and improve operational precision. Furthermore, the system supports the platform "OPERA," which assists in the automation and remote operation of construction machinery, enabling smooth on-site deployment with existing compatible models.

As part of its Construction GX (Green Transformation) initiative, Nishio Rent All is also promoting electric backhoes. The actually exhibited Volvo Construction Equipment "ECR25" is an electric backhoe among the GX-certified construction machinery designated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. By installing a tilt rotator, a front-end attachment capable of tilting up to 45 degrees left and right and rotating 360 degrees infinitely, it not only reduces the environmental load through electrification but was also promoted as an advanced ICT construction machine capable of complex excavation and slope shaping.
