en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 7, the first carbon fiber electric bus jointly developed by China Golden Dragon Bus and European new energy vehicle company Ebusco officially rolled off the production line at Golden Dragon's Longhai factory. The two parties also signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

Peng Dongqing, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Xiamen Golden Dragon Bus Co., Ltd., stated that this is not just the launch of a vehicle, but a new starting point for both parties to jointly enter the high-end new energy bus market in Europe.

As a representative company in the field of zero-emission electric buses in Europe, Ebusco focuses on electric bus R&D, energy management, and sustainable public transportation, with advantages in lightweight design, vehicle integration, and battery technology application. Since its establishment in 1992, Golden Dragon Bus has exported its products to more than 150 countries and regions. In this collaboration, Golden Dragon Bus worked with battery and carbon fiber material suppliers to jointly develop the new energy bus.

This 18-meter-long new energy bus uses carbon fiber composite materials for its body structure to reduce energy consumption. Carbon fiber is lightweight and corrosion-resistant, widely used in the aerospace field. The body adopts a "sandwich"-like layered design to help with thermal insulation. The battery pack is placed under the vehicle, and combined with a fully flat floor design, it improves passenger mobility and standing capacity. The vehicle is also equipped with electronic rearview mirrors to provide drivers with a wider field of view.

Ebusco founder Peter Bijvelds stated that the two parties began cooperation as early as 2012, when they developed aluminum body materials, and have now upgraded to carbon fiber materials. Golden Dragon Bus's manufacturing capabilities and supply chain advantages provide a guarantee for Ebusco's production capacity. In the future, both parties will explore the high-end new energy bus market in Europe with the vision of "zero emissions."

Zhou Jian, Assistant General Manager of the Overseas Sales Company of Golden Dragon Bus, stated that going global requires understanding the regulatory standards and customer needs of different countries, and providing reliable products and services. The launch of this first vehicle is a practice of integrating capabilities and co-creating value between the two parties, and it also strengthens Golden Dragon Bus's determination to explore the global market.
