en.Wedoany.com Reported - Harold Potter has manufactured and installed a 1-ton capacity jib crane for a customer in Hertfordshire, England, with the Nottingham-based lifting equipment specialist handling the design, fabrication, and assembly entirely in-house.
The crane is fully internally produced, with a height from the beam bottom to the final floor level of 4.5 meters and a jib radius of 4.25 meters. Harold Potter stated that all equipment underwent a comprehensive refurbishment before leaving the Nottingham factory and was inspected in accordance with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER).
Harold Potter's business covers products such as overhead cranes, gantry cranes, giant and semi-giant gantry cranes, as well as jib cranes, lifting beams, and spreader beams. The company also offers crane design and manufacturing, LOLER inspections, maintenance, repairs, and refurbishment services, along with spare parts for older models. In addition to supplying new and used equipment, the company provides after-sales services to ensure the maintenance and compliance of customers' lifting equipment, with services encompassing refurbishment and repairs.
The recent installation in Hertfordshire is one of several projects undertaken by the company, whose business focus is on manufacturing and repairing overhead and jib cranes nationwide. Last month, Harold Potter completed the installation of a Goliath crane with a safe working load of 12.5 tons at JRL Trent Precast in Skelmersdale. The crane has a span of 30 meters and is equipped with travel beacons, storm anchors, and a wireless remote control. During the same period, the company completed the installation of four new 5-ton single-girder gantry cranes at the WH Davis factory in Derbyshire, England.
