en.Wedoany.com Reported - HGT Aracruz, a joint venture between Brazil's Hanseatic Global Terminals (HGT) and Grupo Imetame, has signed an agreement with Sany for the supply of container handling equipment, including Ship-to-Shore (STS) cranes and Rubber-Tired Gantry (RTG) cranes, for the new terminal in Aracruz, Espírito Santo, Brazil.

HGT stated that this signing is a key milestone in the project's development, reflecting the joint venture's commitment to building a world-class facility. The terminal will combine operational efficiency, sustainability, and scalability to support future growth and meet customer demands. HGT CEO Dheeraj Bhatia noted that the agreement is an important step in developing a world-class terminal to serve customers and support regional economic growth, adding that introducing state-of-the-art equipment will lay the foundation for safe and efficient operations, solidifying Aracruz's position as a key logistics gateway.
