This facility is an ultra-low carbon methanol plant designed for sustainable chemical production.

Located near Topolobampo, the facility is expected to commence operations in 2030, producing approximately 6,130 metric tons of methanol per day. The Pacífico Mexinol project integrates advanced process technology, carbon capture, water management, and low-carbon production pathways, and upon completion, it will become one of the world's largest ultra-low carbon chemical production facilities.

Under the agreement, Heurtey Petrochem Solutions will provide its proprietary electrically heated tubular furnace technology.
