en.Wedoany.com Reported - KazMunayGas (КазМунайГаз) continues to advance its digital transformation, with its core tool, the Contract Document Circulation System (КҚАЖ), fully digitizing the procurement process for petroleum products. The contract signing process, which previously required extensive paper documents, is now completed through an online electronic platform. The company can submit procurement requests online, sign contracts using electronic signatures, obtain documents required for fuel acquisition, and view the history of all business processes at any time, accelerating the procurement of petroleum products. Since the system's launch, over 9,000 electronic contracts have been signed, involving a total of 6 million tons of petroleum products.
Currently, KazMunayGas is developing the next critical phase of the project—a digital distribution mechanism for petroleum products. This mechanism aims to allocate petroleum products based on accurate and objective data rather than manual operations. To this end, the Contract Document Circulation System is being integrated with the information system of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The system will consider data on the volume of fuel sold through gas stations and other sales channels, enabling decisions based on real data, improving the transparency of petroleum product distribution, and eliminating subjective factors. In accordance with the requirements of the Tax Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the system has introduced the functionality for electronic signing of agreements containing tax-confidential information, allowing counterparties to sign such agreements entirely online.
The system is being implemented at the country's three major refineries—Atyrau Refinery (АМӨЗ), Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant (ПМХЗ), and Shymkent Refinery (ПҚОП). Currently, the company has submitted crude oil processing applications in electronic format. Next, the process of signing crude oil processing contracts will fully transition to a digital format, which will accelerate enterprise operations, reduce paper document flow, and enhance the convenience of interaction among all participants.
