en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) announced that the Northeast leg of the "AEM Manufacturing Express" tour will launch on August 31, 2026, hitting the road for the third consecutive year and stopping at 18 manufacturing facilities in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New York, and Ohio.
The tour aims to share the stories of the 2.2 million people who build, power, and feed America, celebrating the workers and communities at the heart of the equipment manufacturing industry. AEM President and CEO Megan Tanel stated that the tour's continued popularity among members proves its impact. Millions of Americans across the country are involved in manufacturing the equipment needed to build infrastructure and feed the nation, and this tour provides an opportunity to recognize their work, share their stories, and build a sense of pride.
In August and September of this year, each stop will invite employees to participate in the "Manufacturing Challenge," an interactive online game designed to showcase innovations in modern equipment manufacturing. Attendees can also learn how to become industry advocates by joining AEM's national grassroots program, "I Make America." Kip Eideberg, AEM Senior Vice President of Government and Industry Relations, said the tour meets workers at their workplaces and provides them with the tools to become advocates through "I Make America."
