This project symbolizes the ironclad friendship between Cambodia and China and is regarded as a "road of opportunity" and a "bridge of cooperation."
National Road 7 (Skun-Kampong Cham section), with a total length of 45.504 kilometers, is one of the eight main arterial highways radiating from Cambodia's capital, Phnom Penh. As a key project of practical cooperation between China and Cambodia, this project, supported by China's preferential export buyer's credit, has been upgraded and widened from a secondary road to a four-lane primary road, with both design and construction adhering to Chinese specifications and standards. Upon completion, the project will effectively drive the development of tourism, agriculture, and fisheries along the route. Additionally, as an important component of Asian Highway Network AH11, it will play a positive role in improving the Asian highway network.
