en.Wedoany.com Reported - Recently, China Energy Engineering Group Co., Ltd.'s Jiangsu Power Design Institute successfully won two grid-side independent energy storage EPC projects: the Bayannur Deling Mountain 400 MW/1600 MWh Grid-Side Independent Energy Storage Power Station (Phase I) Project, and the Baoying County Liubao Town Grid-Side Energy Storage Power Station Project.

Bayannur Deling Mountain 400 MW/1600 MWh Grid-Side Independent Energy Storage Power Station (Phase I)

The project is located in Deling Mountain Town, Urad Middle Banner, Bayannur City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It plans to construct one 400 MW/1600 MWh grid-side independent electrochemical energy storage power station and one 220 kV step-up substation. Jiangsu Power Design Institute is responsible for the engineering construction of the 200 MW/800 MWh energy storage power station and the step-up substation, utilizing lithium iron phosphate electrochemical energy storage technology.

Once completed, the project will leverage the peak-shaving advantages of lithium iron phosphate energy storage to smooth fluctuations in local wind and solar power output, enhance new energy integration capacity and grid power supply stability, reduce fossil energy consumption and pollutant emissions, and support the clean and low-carbon transformation of the local energy structure.

Baoying County Liubao Town Grid-Side Energy Storage Power Station Project

The project is located in Liubao Town, Baoying County, Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, and is a key supporting project for the regional new power system. It plans to construct a capacity of 90 MW/180 MWh, with a new 110 kV step-up substation to be built and connected to the grid via a 110 kV line, adopting lithium iron phosphate energy storage technology.

Upon completion, the project will fully leverage the core functions of energy storage for peak shaving and frequency regulation, smoothing load fluctuations, and integrating local new energy power, effectively enhancing the reliability of regional grid power supply, supporting Baoying's energy green transformation, and providing a solid power guarantee for the development of the local low-carbon industry.
