en.Wedoany.com Reported - Dimension News, London AIM-listed copper, gold, and silver producer Anglo Asian Mining plc released its Q2 2026 production report on July 15, 2026. The data shows that the company's Q2 copper output reached 5,129 tons, a significant increase of 684% compared to 654 tons in the same period last year, and a 27% increase from 4,036 tons in Q1 2026. This strong performance was primarily driven by the continued ramp-up of the Demirli mine and the technical upgrade of the flotation plant at the Gedabek mine.

In terms of production composition, the Demirli mine contributed 3,250 tons of copper in Q2, accounting for approximately 63.4% of total output, becoming the core driver of growth. The mine is still in the ramp-up phase toward steady-state production and is expected to reach full capacity in Q3 2026. The remaining copper output came from the Gedabek mine, which recently completed an upgrade of its flotation plant, with improvements in processing capacity and recovery rates supporting overall growth.

In terms of gold and silver production, the company's Q2 gold output was 6,272 ounces, up 3.4% quarter-on-quarter and approximately 1% year-on-year; silver output was 50,059 ounces, a 56% increase from 32,033 ounces in the same period last year. The expansion of copper mine production drove a simultaneous increase in associated silver output.

In the first half of 2026, Anglo Asian's copper output reached 8,840 tons, a record high for the period. The company maintained its full-year 2026 production guidance unchanged: 20,000 to 25,000 tons of copper, 28,000 to 33,000 ounces of gold, and 170,000 to 210,000 ounces of silver. Q2 has already achieved approximately 20% to 26% of the full-year copper guidance range, and with the Demirli mine reaching full capacity in Q3, copper output is expected to further increase in the second half of the year.

Financially, the company's net cash increased by approximately $39.9 million in Q2, rising from about $17.7 million in Q1 to $57.6 million. The company also reduced its debt to $12.2 million. In the first half of the year, the company's copper concentrate sales reached $125.9 million. Anglo Asian Mining is a UK-based company with all its operating assets located in Azerbaijan.
