en.Wedoany.com Reported - Japanese technology company Inomo Japan (イノモ日本) will release the AI smart glasses "INMO GO3" (イノモ ゴースリー) on July 30, priced at 99,800 yen. The product can be used as smart glasses directly connected to AI, enabling functions such as conversation translation and text transcription simply by pressing buttons or using the touch sensor on the glasses, without needing to operate a smartphone app. The device is also equipped with a detachable battery, making it convenient to use while charging on the go.

Inomo Japan Sales Manager Motochika Nagano (長野元親) stated that the INMO GO3 is not merely a device for showcasing translation or technology, but a practical tool with real-world functionality. In terms of design, the temple thickness of the glasses is kept to 8 mm, and the weight is only 58 grams. The temples are designed to expand outward by 15 degrees to avoid the discomfort often associated with common AR glasses. The nose pads feature an airbag structure, and the weight balance has been optimized to provide comfort for daily wear.

The display uses a green Micro-LED screen with a resolution of 640×480 and a maximum brightness of 1,500 nits. The waveguide transmittance reaches 97%, and AR coating and AF coating are applied to reduce reflections and fingerprints, making it suitable for everyday use.

The device is equipped with a variety of AI functions. The translation mode offers bidirectional translation, offline translation, and photo translation, supported by a self-developed translation model. Bidirectional translation is achieved through the accessory "INMO Speaker": the other person's speech is projected onto the user's lens, and the translation of the user's speech is output as audio through the speaker. Conversation translation provides two modes: 90° directional sound pickup for one-on-one conversations and 360° omnidirectional sound pickup for meetings. The translation function supports 98 languages online, and offline translation supports 9 languages including Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, and Korean. In terms of microphones, the device is equipped with a total of 4 noise-canceling microphones.

The device also features a "speech teleprompter" function, allowing users to import text files, Word documents, or PDF manuscripts via a smartphone app, which are then projected onto the glasses. It also has an auto-scroll function that follows the spoken content. For meetings, it offers meeting recording, AI meeting minutes, and text transcription functions. Other features include AR navigation, AI Q&A (compatible with Gemini or ChatGPT), AI notes, and notification alerts.

Operation is performed via two physical buttons and a touch sensor on the right temple, or by using the accessory ring-shaped controller "INMO Ring4". In terms of battery life, it lasts up to 8 hours in normal use, up to 3.3 hours in speech teleprompter mode, and up to 3 hours in conversation translation mode. Starting July 31, prescription lenses co-developed with "JUN GINZA" will also be available.

Inomo Japan Representative Director Yohei Nomura (野村洋平) positions AI smart glasses as "an experience where the real world in front of you overlaps with AI," emphasizing that they enable a natural AI experience in business, travel, and daily life. The product is directly connected to AI, providing access to various functions such as translation, text transcription, and summarization, allowing users to stay connected to the world while looking forward without needing to look down. Regarding entry into the Japanese market, He Yingxin (ハー・インシン), Vice President of Overseas Sales at Sichuan Yingmu Technology Co., Ltd., stated that the Japanese market has a high level of interest in technology and is an important market globally, with the company aiming to become the "number one" smart glasses brand in Japan.
