en.Wedoany.com Reported - China State Construction Engineering Corporation Middle East (CSCEC ME) recently won the bid for the Dubai Municipality TF-15-C2 Rainwater Drainage Pipeline Project. Located in the Al Barsha and Al Quoz communities along Umm Suqeim Road, the project encompasses approximately 20 kilometers of rainwater pipelines along with supporting manholes, inlets, and other facilities. It is a key component of Dubai Municipality's "Tasreef" strategic plan.

China State Construction Engineering Corporation Middle East is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) in the Middle East, established in 2003 with its headquarters in Dubai, UAE. The company is one of the largest international engineering contractors in the Middle East, with operations spanning building construction, infrastructure, electromechanical installation, steel structures, and decoration. It has undertaken numerous landmark projects in countries including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar. The awarded rainwater drainage pipeline project is located west of Dubai Creek, connecting Al Quoz Industrial Areas 3 and 4 with Al Quoz Area 1, serving as a critical project for drainage infrastructure development in the region.

The implementation of this project is a significant step in realizing the "Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan." As a key project under Dubai Municipality's "Tasreef" strategic plan, it aims to establish a modern drainage system covering the core areas of western Dubai. With Dubai's accelerated urbanization in recent years and frequent extreme weather events, the existing drainage system faces considerable pressure. The newly constructed rainwater pipeline network will effectively enhance the region's flood control and drainage capacity, reducing the risk of waterlogging.

This project represents another important achievement following a series of breakthroughs by CSCEC Middle East in Dubai's urban drainage sector. Upon completion, it will effectively improve the drainage capacity of the Al Barsha and Al Quoz communities, refine Dubai's modern drainage system, enhance the resilience of urban infrastructure, and provide infrastructure support for Dubai's high-quality and sustainable development. The signing of this contract further consolidates CSCEC Middle East's market position in the UAE's infrastructure sector, demonstrating its technical expertise and performance capability in large-scale urban drainage project construction.
