Led by Taiyuan Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (Taiyuan Heavy Industry), the consortium was officially established in collaboration with six other high-end equipment manufacturing enterprises. The consortium aims to create a collaborative innovation platform integrating "chain leader" enterprises, supporting backbone enterprises, and research institutions. By deepening the industry-academia-research mechanism, it will conduct joint research on quality technologies, promote the flow of excellent quality management experience along the industrial chain, and drive the quality improvement and upgrading of the equipment manufacturing industry in Taiyuan and even Shanxi Province.

At the founding conference, the seven enterprises jointly signed the establishment agreement. A representative from Taiyuan Heavy Industry read out the consortium's charter and delivered an exchange speech, clarifying the development principles of "openness, innovation, cooperation, and win-win." The representative shared the enterprise's practical experience in overcoming key technological bottlenecks and driving collaborative development along the industrial chain, calling on all member enterprises to pool efforts to tackle common quality technology challenges in industrial development.

Previously, Taiyuan Heavy Industry's mining excavators and casting cranes were recognized as national "Manufacturing Single Champion" products, and seven of its products were rated as "National User Satisfactory Products." Taiyuan Heavy Industry also received the "Shanxi Province Quality Award," and four of its products were selected as "Shanxi Premium Products." Taiyuan Heavy Industry stated that it will continue to assume the responsibility of the "chain leader," collaborate with enterprises along the chain to build an innovation synergy ecosystem, promote the deep integration of the innovation chain and industrial chain, and help Shanxi's equipment manufacturing industry improve quality and embrace innovation.
