The hydrostatic rotary table of this machine tool achieves a runout of less than 1 micron, roundness of less than 1 micron, and cylindricity of less than 2 microns.
The VCG vertical grinder features a hydrostatic rotary table (C-axis) with radial runout less than 1 micron and axial runout controlled to the micron level. Its wear-free characteristics ensure long-term precision retention. With a single workpiece clamping, internal, external, and face grinding can be completed.
The machine is equipped with a Renishaw online measurement device installed on the B-axis measuring arm, which automatically measures diameter, height, and taper during the machining process and performs automatic compensation, enabling closed-loop machining. The machine bed uses a high-strength cast iron monolithic base, combined with a cross-slide structure where the crossrail is supported on a single column, providing excellent vibration damping performance and thermal stability. The surface roughness of the spindle sleeve bore after machining is consistently maintained below Ra 0.1.
Standard equipment includes a 6-station automatic tool changer, with a maximum grinding wheel specification of φ350×100 mm, enabling automatic switching between multiple tools, grinding wheels, and probes. It is equipped with DoGrind+ software, offering visual programming and guided operation wizards, integrating internal, external, face, taper, and non-circular grinding functions.
The VCG vertical grinder occupies less than 11 square meters, with a maximum workpiece diameter of 950 mm, length of 700 mm, and a load capacity of 2500 kg.
