India's Globe Toyota Partners with BioTradX to Recycle 30,000 Liters of Used Oil Monthly
en.Wedoany.com Reported - Globe Toyota, a JCBL Group company, has partnered with BioTradX to strengthen waste and resource management through a transparent digital platform, supporting its long-term sustainability goals. The collaboration will enable the company to responsibly recycle used oil and recyclable industrial waste.
By integrating BioTradX's digital marketplace, Globe Toyota can manage and monetize used oil, recyclable materials, and other resources generated by its dealerships. The initiative introduces digital tracking technology, enhancing traceability in waste management and supporting the company's circular economy strategy. The project initially focuses on used oil treatment, with plans to expand to a broader range of recyclable materials in the future. Approximately 30,000 liters of used oil are expected to be collected monthly, which will be environmentally treated and converted into sustainable biofuel products.

This partnership builds on Globe Toyota's existing sustainability initiatives. Multiple dealerships have installed solar systems, cumulatively reducing CO2 emissions by 258,286 kg—equivalent to planting 7,709 trees—and cutting energy costs by 40%. Water-efficient car wash systems have reduced annual water consumption by 36%, saving 13.4 million liters of water per year. These measures support the company's goal of halving its carbon footprint by 2030, and its Ludhiana dealership has also obtained ESG certification.
Vivek Datta, Managing Director and CEO of Globe Toyota, stated that sustainability has been integrated into all aspects of dealership operations, from energy use to water recovery. The partnership with BioTradX brings the same discipline to waste management, particularly in handling used oil and recyclable materials. Shubham Bansal, Founder of BioTradX, noted that Globe Toyota's integration of sustainability into its operations exemplifies the future of responsible industrial growth, and the collaboration demonstrates how digital infrastructure can help companies strengthen circular supply chains and create measurable operational and environmental value.
