en.Wedoany.com Reported - Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has integrated over 30,000 electric vehicle charging points across India through its myHyundai app, allowing users to access one of the country's largest charging networks via a single platform. This integrated network, established in collaboration with multiple leading charging point operators (CPOs) and service providers, aims to enhance the convenience of electric vehicle travel.

Tarun Garg, Managing Director and CEO of HMIL, stated that charging infrastructure is a key catalyst for electric vehicle adoption in India, and the company is committed to creating an ecosystem that makes electric mobility practical, convenient, and accessible for everyone. By integrating over 30,000 charging points through the myHyundai app, HMIL provides EV users with access to one of India's largest charging networks via a single platform. This platform is open to EV owners of all brands, reflecting HMIL's commitment to developing India's broader electric vehicle ecosystem. HMIL plans to more than double its proprietary DC fast public charging network from the current 183 stations to 600 stations by 2030, bringing India's charging infrastructure closer to global standards.
The myHyundai app offers EV owners a unified platform for convenient access to charging stations across India, featuring location discovery, navigation, advance booking, and digital payment capabilities. Charging stations are strategically located near dining facilities, allowing users to rest while their vehicles charge. The network covers a 25-kilometer radius, provides easy access to major highways, and serves over 300,000 EV customers, delivering a cumulative 5,000 MWh of energy. HMIL's EV charging ecosystem is designed to promote cleaner mobility and is expected to reduce approximately 3.5 million kilograms of CO2 emissions. HMIL plans to launch an SUV electric vehicle for the mass market within this fiscal year.
