en.Wedoany.com Reported - China Chemical Engineering Donghua Company recently organized a 100% model review and design closure meeting for the methanol synthesis unit of the Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group Yulin Chemical Phase II Stage I project. Relevant responsible persons and technical experts from the Yulin Chemical Methanol Project Department and the Donghua Company methanol synthesis unit design team jointly participated in the meeting. After evaluation, it was confirmed that all core indicators of the project were met, and the complete set of design deliverables was comprehensive and compliant with specifications.

The methanol synthesis unit is the core unit in the industrial chain of the Yulin Chemical Phase II Stage I project, characterized by the concentration of large-scale equipment and dense high-temperature and high-pressure process pipelines. The review team, based on the rectification opinion list from previous model review stages and optimization requests from the owner, conducted item-by-item verification focusing on key points such as operation and maintenance access, electrical and instrumentation cable tray routing, cross-disciplinary consistency, and startup configuration requirements. In accordance with Yulin Chemical's design closure standards, special inspections were carried out on the quality of design deliverables, closure of HAZOP recommended measures, and design change ledgers.
The convening of this model review and design closure meeting marks the successful completion of the detailed design phase, laying the foundation for the orderly progression of subsequent construction processes such as on-site equipment installation, pipeline laying, and electrical and instrumentation installation. In the next steps, the project team will accelerate the delivery of the complete set of design deliverables, organize on-site technical briefings in an orderly manner, and continuously improve the rectification of remaining items to ensure the early completion and commissioning of the methanol synthesis unit.
