en.Wedoany.com Reported - Polymetals Resources (ASX:POL) plans to update the mineral resource estimate for the Upper Main Lode at the Endeavor mine in New South Wales later this year, as the company continues to obtain high-grade silver-lead-zinc results from underground drilling at the mine.

All nine new drill holes intersected significant mineralization, validating the company's reinterpretation of the historical 1996 collapse event in the Cobar mining district. The drilling confirmed extensive high-grade mineralization within the Upper Main Lode, supplementing results released on June 24.

Best results include: Drill hole POL015 intersected 96.6 meters with a silver equivalent grade of 604 g/t, including 390 g/t silver, 8.8% zinc, and 5.4% lead; POL016 returned 48.4 meters with a silver equivalent grade of 666 g/t; POL013 intersected 68.1 meters with a silver equivalent grade of 429 g/t.

Polymetals stated that the continuity of results enhances geological confidence and supports its view that the Upper Main Lode could become a meaningful addition to the Endeavor mining inventory. Exploration Executive Director Jess Oram noted that each new drill hole increases confidence—substantial high-grade mineralization remains outside the area affected by the 1996 collapse.

The project has moved beyond the proof-of-concept stage and is now focused on defining the geometry and continuity of mineralization suitable for a mineral resource estimate. The drilling is not identifying isolated remnant lenses but is progressively determining the overall shape of the mineralized system.

Underground diamond drilling continues in the Upper Main Lode target area. Remaining drill holes aim to further define the boundaries of the interpreted collapse zone, improve geological confidence and continuity of mineralization, and support geological modeling and mineral resource estimation.

Under the JORC 2012 standard, the Endeavor mine has an underground mineral resource of 16.3 million tonnes at 8.0% zinc, 4.5% lead, and 84 g/t silver.
