en.Wedoany.com Reported - South Korea's Younglimwon Soft Lab announced on the 22nd that it has partnered with Dassault Systèmes Korea to launch a project linking ERP and design solutions for digital manufacturing innovation.
In the current manufacturing industry, connecting data from design and production to management has become a key factor in corporate competitiveness. However, many manufacturing companies operate product data management systems and enterprise resource planning systems separately, leading to inefficiencies such as duplicate data entry and delays in information transmission.
Dassault Systèmes Korea provides SOLIDWORKS PDM, which manages 3D design and product data for manufacturing companies, while Younglimwon Soft Lab offers an ERP system that supports the entire management process, including production, procurement, and finance.
Under the agreement, both parties will link design-stage drawings and bill of materials data with the ERP system, building a seamless data connection and integration environment from design to production and management.
The two companies have already accumulated experience in building and operating the integration of SOLIDWORKS PDM and K-System ERP across multiple manufacturing enterprises, and plan to expand the proven integration model to more manufacturing companies.
This initiative will enable manufacturing companies to manage design, production, and management data in an integrated manner, with design changes shared in real time, thereby reducing duplicate data entry and improving information accuracy and business productivity.
Areas of collaboration include: identifying successful cases of SOLIDWORKS PDM and K-System ERP integration, joint marketing based on these success stories, case sharing between partners, and joint sales cooperation.
The two parties plan to strengthen partner collaboration through joint seminars, content production, and other marketing activities, jointly expanding the digital transformation market in the manufacturing sector.
Bae Jae-in, Head of Dassault Systèmes Korea, stated that SOLIDWORKS PDM and Younglimwon ERP are complementary solutions, and through this partnership, they can provide greater value to manufacturing customers and expand the market.
Park Yoon-kyung, Vice President of Younglimwon Soft Lab, said that when design, production, and management data are integrated, manufacturing companies can make faster and more accurate decisions. Going forward, they will expand collaboration with various specialized solutions to enhance customer business efficiency.
On the 14th, Younglimwon Soft Lab signed a joint business agreement with Infotech Corporation for an AI ERP upgrade based on financial data, planning to combine automatic financial data linkage technology with AI ERP to support AI-based decision-making and corporate digital transformation.
