2027 Nissan Z Coupe Launches in the U.S.

In addition to the price adjustment, this update includes a mild facelift, with major changes focused on the front bumper and grille design.

The front Nissan emblem has been replaced by a new "Z" badge, and a new Shinkai Green Pearl Metallic paint option has been added. The vehicle also features an improved fuel tank to ensure uninterrupted fuel supply during aggressive track driving. The mid-range Z Performance version starts at $54,480, also up $1,510, and adds a Qi2 wireless charger, along with 19-inch black spoke forged wheels.

This version also adopts larger shock absorbers for improved damping and offers a new tan interior. The top-of-the-line Z Nismo version is priced at $67,260, $1,510 more than its predecessor. This version offers a new six-speed manual transmission designed specifically for the top-tier model, featuring an upgraded clutch and a new shift lever ratio, promising shorter throws with a faster, more precise feel. Drivers will also experience more aggressive throttle response, along with Active Sound Enhancement and Active Noise Cancellation systems recalibrated for the manual transmission.

The Nismo version also adopts a lightweight front braking system derived from the GT-R, which uses two-piece iron-aluminum brake discs, reducing weight by 19 pounds (8.6 kg) and improving heat dissipation. The suspension and steering systems have been recalibrated for enhanced performance. In terms of power, all versions are equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine, with mainstream versions producing 400 horsepower (298 kW) and 350 lb-ft (474 Nm) of torque, while the Nismo version delivers 420 horsepower (313 kW) and 384 lb-ft (520 Nm) of torque.

The specific pricing for the 2027 Nissan Z is as follows: Nissan Z Sport (9AT/6MT) at $44,480; Nissan Z Performance (9AT/6MT) at $54,480; Nissan Z Nismo (9AT/6MT) at $67,260. All prices exclude a $1,245 destination charge.
