GE Vernova to Deliver 43 Wind Turbines for Fatehgarh Project in India by 2026

en.Wedoany.com Reported - GE Vernova has secured a contract to supply 43 onshore wind turbines for the Fatehgarh wind farm in Rajasthan, India, along with installation of the related equipment. Delivery is expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Under the agreement, the scope of supply covers 43 units of 3.8 MW–154 m onshore wind turbines. The project owner is Enfinity Global, which currently holds a renewable energy portfolio of 4 GW in India, of which approximately 300 MW is already operational, spanning solar, wind, and energy storage sectors.

These turbines will be manufactured at GE Vernova's plant in Pune, which has an annual production capacity of up to 1,500 MW.

The two companies stated that the advancement of this project will support the expansion of India's renewable energy installed capacity. The Indian government has set a target of achieving 100 GW of wind power installed capacity by 2030.
