Beijing Kaisheng Signs Concrete Supply Contract for 1,500 MW Wind Power Project in Uzbekistan

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 18, Beijing Kaisheng Uzbekistan Green Building Materials Co., Ltd. signed a contract with Larsen & Toubro Limited for the supply of commercial concrete for tower foundations of the Kungrad 1,500 MW wind power project in Uzbekistan. Under the contract, Beijing Kaisheng's local subsidiary in Uzbekistan will provide commercial concrete and supporting services for the construction of wind turbine foundations. The contract value and supply scale have not yet been disclosed.

Prior to this signing, Beijing Kaisheng's local subsidiary in Uzbekistan had already secured the prefabrication service contract for wind turbine towers for the project. With the addition of the commercial concrete supply business, the company's scope of services in the project has been further extended from tower prefabrication to tower foundation construction, forming a synergistic supply model covering major wind power civil engineering materials and prefabricated components.

Wind turbine tower foundation concrete pouring is characterized by large single-batch usage and extended continuous operation, imposing high requirements on concrete mix design, supply continuity, temperature control of mass concrete structures, and on-site transport scheduling. Beijing Kaisheng's local subsidiary in Uzbekistan will rely on the local commercial concrete production system, raw material supply channels, and technical service team to fulfill the contract.

Larsen & Toubro Limited operates across the energy, power, and infrastructure engineering sectors. This contract signing further expands the scope of cooperation between the two parties in Uzbekistan's new energy engineering sector and also accumulates supply track record for Beijing Kaisheng's future participation in local wind power and industrial infrastructure projects.
