12500DWT Methanol Dual-Fuel Stainless Steel Chemical/Oil Tanker "MTT Inya" Launched
en.Wedoany.com Reported - Recently, the first 12500DWT international voyage chemical/oil tanker built by Linhai Huipu Shipbuilding & Repair Co., Ltd. for Malaysia's MTT Group, with plan review and construction survey carried out by China Classification Society (CCS), was successfully launched.
The vessel has an overall length of 130 meters and features a lean-duplex stainless steel hull. It is equipped with a diesel/methanol dual-fuel main engine, allowing seamless switching between clean energy and conventional fuel modes. While significantly reducing sulfur oxide, nitrogen oxide, and greenhouse gas emissions, it also delivers excellent seaworthiness and economic efficiency.

From the early stages of project planning, CCS Zhejiang Branch and Taizhou Office attached great importance to the project and assigned senior surveyors to form a project team responsible for survey services. The team provided comprehensive professional technical guidance in areas such as lean-duplex stainless steel construction and management, dual-fuel main engine integration, ship cyber security, and flag state special requirements, achieving a dual improvement in both shipbuilding efficiency and safety quality.
