Malaysia's SkyGate NHJ Activates 36,000 sq ft Precision Machining Facility

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 4, SkyGate NHJ Technology officially inaugurated its new precision manufacturing base in the Prai Free Industrial Zone, Penang, Malaysia. The new facility encompasses approximately 36,000 square feet of manufacturing space, with its production system centered on digital CNC machining, automation, and precision engineering, and has already entered the operational phase.

SkyGate NHJ Technology was established in July 2025 as a joint venture between a subsidiary of Malaysia's SkyGate Solutions and Singapore's New Jin Hai. The new facility is equipped with CNC machining and automated manufacturing capabilities, with business scope covering precision component machining and related engineering manufacturing. The project timeline from the establishment of the joint venture to the activation of the facility spanned approximately 14 months.

The base employs a digital manufacturing system to organize CNC machining production and has introduced automated equipment and manufacturing data management capabilities. According to the project plan, the facility will undertake orders for precision components requiring high dimensional accuracy, machining consistency, and mass production capacity. New Jin Hai, which has been engaged in the precision engineering business for over 30 years, will provide precision machining and manufacturing technology expertise, while SkyGate Solutions will contribute local Malaysian industrial and operational resources.

The new facility is located in Penang's mature manufacturing cluster, with production facilities fully constructed, equipment deployed, and officially operational.
