China Zhuojin Co., Ltd. Consortium Wins the 210 Million Yuan Bid for the Soil Remediation Project of the Former Huaihua Group

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 21, Zhejiang Zhuojin Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. announced that the company, as the consortium leader, formed a consortium with China Chemical Engineering Third Construction Co., Ltd. and China Municipal Engineering Central South Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd., and won the bid for the soil remediation project of the former Huaihua Group site, with a bid amount of 209.5168 million yuan. According to the consortium agreement, Zhuojin Co., Ltd. will undertake approximately 68.5% of the workload, with an estimated corresponding contract amount of approximately 144 million yuan.

The project is located in Huainan City, Anhui Province, and is implemented using the EPC model integrating design, construction, and procurement. The remediation scope covers three areas of the former Huaihua Group: Area A, B, and C. Among them, Area A covers approximately 317 mu, with an estimated soil volume to be remediated of approximately 19,300 cubic meters; Area B covers approximately 760 mu, with an estimated soil volume to be remediated of approximately 205,500 cubic meters, and involves approximately 95,900 cubic meters of groundwater remediation; Area C covers approximately 627 mu, with an estimated soil volume to be remediated of approximately 16,200 cubic meters. The final engineering volume shall be settled according to the actual remediation volume.

The consortium's scope of work includes detailed design of the remediation plan, construction plan design, soil and groundwater remediation construction, procurement, installation, and dismantling of materials and equipment, as well as project effectiveness evaluation, data handover, and filing. After the project is completed, the relevant plots must pass the effectiveness evaluation review organized by the competent administrative department and be removed from the Anhui Province Construction Land Soil Pollution Risk Control and Remediation List.

The total planned project duration is 1096 calendar days, of which Areas A and C are required to complete remediation and pass self-inspection within 240 days. The consortium project manager and construction manager is Zheng Jingfen, and the design manager is Cheng Kang. A total of 21 enterprises participated in this public bidding, and the Zhuojin Co., Ltd. consortium became the first winning candidate with a score of 94.79 points.

Zhuojin Co., Ltd. has previously implemented projects such as the remediation of the Bainanshan Park plot of Zhejiang Xin'an Chemical Group, the soil remediation of relevant plots and planned roads in the Hangzhou Steel unit, and the land pollution remediation of the former Ruida Coking Plant, with contract amounts of 47 million yuan, 56.88 million yuan, and 62.58 million yuan, respectively.
