en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 19, Goulds Pumps, a subsidiary of U.S. industrial equipment manufacturer ITT Group, announced plans to invest $31 million to establish an industrial pump manufacturing and distribution center in Memphis, Tennessee, a project that will create 57 new jobs. The new facility, located at 5633 Mineral Wells Road in Shelby County, marks the company's first production and distribution facility in Tennessee.

The project will utilize an existing industrial facility and be equipped with industrial pump manufacturing, warehousing and distribution, and inventory management functions to expand the company's supply capacity in the North American market. The new base will cover industrial pumps compliant with relevant American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and American Petroleum Institute (API) standards, as well as process pumps, multistage pumps and other products, serving industrial sectors including oil and gas, mining, power generation, chemicals, paper and water treatment.

Goulds Pumps currently operates a distribution center in Southaven, Mississippi. Due to insufficient space at the existing facility, the company has chosen to add manufacturing and distribution capacity in neighboring Memphis to further expand its inventory reserves, warehousing management and order fulfillment scale for industrial pump products and components. The new facility will accommodate the company's growing industrial equipment demand in North America.

Goulds Pumps is part of ITT Group's Fluid Technology business segment. In March 2026, ITT completed its acquisition of industrial process equipment manufacturer SPX Flow for approximately $4.775 billion, with the acquired assets involving fluid transfer, mixing, separation and heat exchange technologies. The Memphis investment project is part of Goulds Pumps' existing manufacturing and distribution business expansion plan.
