Wedoany.com Report-Aug. 15, Galliford Try’s Building London and South East Commercial division has completed the initial phase of build-to-rent (BTR) residences at Brent Cross Town, a significant urban development in London, UK. Covering 180 acres, Brent Cross Town is an £8 billion ($10 billion) park town project spearheaded by Related Argent in collaboration with Barnet Council.

This milestone follows the successful delivery of 281 apartments at Ashley Road in Tottenham Hale. Plot 13, named ‘The Maple,’ comprises 249 BTR homes across four buildings, ranging from eight to 16 stories. Designed by Squire & Partners and WCA, with interiors by Conran and Partners, The Maple offers a variety of studio, one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom apartments. The ground level includes retail and leisure spaces, a community hub, and a shared underground parking area.

Galliford Try is advancing the second phase, Plot 14, scheduled for completion later in 2025, which will add 286 residences. Upon completion of both phases, residents will benefit from amenities such as a gym, swimming pool, spa facilities, a pet wash station, and landscaped podium gardens that provide green spaces within the urban setting.

The Maple aligns with Brent Cross Town’s commitment to achieving net-zero carbon status through sustainable construction practices, including the use of modular bathroom pods. A comprehensive carbon life cycle assessment has been conducted to minimize embodied carbon and promote circular economy principles.

Matthew Pool, Managing Director of Galliford Try’s Building London and South East Commercial division, stated: “We are pleased to have successfully completed Plot 13 at Brent Cross Town, a high-quality residential development that reflects our capability in delivering complex, large-scale urban projects. This scheme represents another positive milestone in our longstanding partnership with Related Argent, and we are proud to contribute to the continued progression of this significant regeneration project.”

Upon full completion, Brent Cross Town will rank among Europe’s largest regeneration projects, delivering 6,700 homes, three million square feet of office and commercial space, a new high street, three redeveloped schools, and over 50 acres of public parks and recreational fields. This development aims to create a sustainable, vibrant community that integrates modern living with accessible green spaces and enhanced infrastructure in London.
