Wedoany.com Report-Dec.22, Recently, China Mobile, in collaboration with manufacturers such as FiberHome, successfully completed the first 800G field trial in Sichuan Province. This trial focused on the core scenario of data center interconnection, closely aligned with the strategic positioning of "breaking through low-cost, high-speed, medium-to-short-range multi-wavelength coherent optical interconnection architecture and core technologies, and ensuring autonomy and control in the high-end optical communication field." With the core goal of enhancing transmission rates and network capacity, an OTN transmission system was established across four core computing power nodes: the Western Cloud Computing Center, the Southern Hub Computing Center, the Western Hub, and the Xindu Data Center. Leveraging 130G baud rate technology, the trial conducted 800G transmission field verification, promoting the practical application of high-speed transmission network technology.
