The project aims to repair and upgrade port facilities to improve port functions and expand logistics and maritime transportation infrastructure.
HS Hwaseong is a comprehensive construction and civil engineering company in South Korea, with business covering roads, bridges, ports, residential buildings, and industrial facilities. Under the contract, HS Hwaseong will collaborate with Yeongseong Construction and Cheongbong Environment on the project. The main scope of work includes repairing a 152-meter-long passenger terminal and a 320-meter-long cargo terminal.

Seogwipo Port, located in Seogwipo City on the southern coast of Jeju Island, is one of the island's key maritime transportation hubs, serving both passenger and cargo functions. This renovation project aims to enhance the operational efficiency and safety of port facilities, and is expected to have a positive impact on local logistics and maritime transportation infrastructure improvements.
