IB Section of Three Municipal Road Projects in Matola, Mozambique, Handed Over and Put into Use

Wedoany.com Report-Dec.30, On December 20th, the handover ceremony for the Intaka-Boki section of the Three Municipal Road Projects in Matola, Mozambique, constructed by Jiangxi International, was held. João Jorge Matlombe, Minister of Transport and Logistics of Mozambique, and Manuel Simão Tule, Governor of Maputo Province, attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony and delivered speeches. Local relevant officials and client representatives also participated.

In his speech, Minister Matlombe affirmed the construction quality and social benefits of the project. He pointed out that this section, together with the other two municipal roads, constitutes an important part of Mozambique's urban transportation and logistics development strategy. It not only improves local municipal traffic conditions but will also promote the optimization and upgrading of the logistics network in Maputo Province, providing support for regional economic and social development. Governor Tule stated that the successful implementation of the project is a significant achievement for local community development. Minister Matlombe and his delegation also conducted an on-site inspection of the project section, examining the road traffic conditions and the details of supporting facility construction. They praised the company for demonstrating a highly responsible corporate spirit under the framework of Mozambique-China cooperation.
