The Selena Group has recently commenced construction of a new production plant for gypsum and adhesive mortars in Kazakhstan. This is the group's second production facility in the country, located in the southern region, with a total investment of approximately 5 million euros.
The plant aims to expand the group's local production capacity for advanced construction chemicals. Sławomir Majchrowski, CEO of the Selena Group, stated: "This investment addresses the growing market demand for dry-mix mortar products and demonstrates our commitment to long-term development in Kazakhstan."
Kazakhstan's sustained economic growth and its logistical advantages have made it a key hub for the Selena Group's regional expansion. Currently, the group's business covers surrounding markets such as Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, and it is considering adding new production lines in the future.
The completion of the new production facility will help meet the needs of the construction industry in Kazakhstan and its surrounding regions, supporting the development of local infrastructure and urban construction.
