Wedoany.com Report on Feb 10th, Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation (Standardization Administration of China) approved and released a batch of important national standards covering multiple fields. These standards closely align with key national directions such as industrial development, technological innovation, ecological protection, and people's livelihood services. They aim to lead high-quality development with high standards and provide solid technical support for building a new development pattern.
In the field of emerging technologies and materials, this release includes 5 foundational and general national standards for areas like brain-computer interface and digital twin. These standards clarify basic requirements such as reference architecture and data formats for related technologies, establishing a normative foundation for the research, application, and industrialization of cutting-edge technologies. Simultaneously, 47 national standards for new materials, including aluminum nitride single-crystal polished wafers and carbon fiber-reinforced composite materials, were released to support the performance enhancement and industrial innovation and upgrading of new material products. Additionally, 15 national standards in the field of laboratory animals were formulated, covering areas such as animal model identification and evaluation, and detection of pathogenic fungi on skin. These further standardize and strengthen the quality management of laboratory animals, better serving biopharmaceutical R&D and life science research.
In the field of transportation and logistics, 2 national standards related to the performance testing methods of autonomous driving systems and automatic parking systems were released for intelligent connected vehicles, helping to enhance their technical reliability and safety. At the same time, 6 national standards for automotive components, such as car door handles and adaptive cruise control systems, were issued to promote the improvement of safety and environmental performance in the automotive industry. For the postal and express delivery industry, 2 mandatory national standards were released, specifying clear requirements for safe production operation procedures and equipment configuration in all stages including collection, sorting, transportation, and delivery, effectively ensuring industry operational safety. Furthermore, 4 national standards in the logistics and procurement fields, such as green logistics indicator accounting and sustainable procurement, were released to promote the green and low-carbon transformation of supply chains.
In terms of ecological and environmental protection, 6 standards were released, including general requirements for nature reserve signage and technical specifications for drone patrols in forest and grassland fire prevention, providing technical basis for protecting biodiversity and maintaining ecological security. Two standards on environmental due diligence assessment and environmental report verification were also issued to help improve environmental governance capacity and green development levels. Additionally, 2 national standards on greenhouse gas emission accounting and reporting requirements were released, supporting enterprises in scientifically and normatively carrying out carbon emission accounting and management, and serving the goals of carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
In the field of production safety and special equipment, 16 mandatory national standards for fire protection products were centrally released, including outdoor fire hydrants, fire hose reels, and combustible gas detectors. These comprehensively update product technical requirements and inspection rules, providing more reliable technical safeguards for fire prevention and control. 14 national standards for special equipment were also released, such as shipbuilding gantry cranes, container front handling cranes, and energy storage pressure vessels, ensuring the safe and stable operation of related equipment and preventing major safety risks.
In the area of people's livelihood services and health security, 4 national standards for disability services were released, covering single-arm operated walking aids, cognitive accessibility design, and service specifications for rehabilitation institutions for children with autism. These promote the quality improvement and service standardization of rehabilitation assistive devices and strengthen rehabilitation security for key groups such as persons with disabilities and the elderly. At the same time, 8 national standards in the healthcare field were released, including requirements for the quality and competence of medical laboratories and control of medical device sterilization processes, standardizing related technical services and production practices to safeguard public health and safety.
Furthermore, this batch of released national standards also includes important technical specifications in other fields such as transport terminology, earth-moving machinery, and reciprocating internal combustion engines. The implementation of these standards will help further optimize the structure of the standard system and enhance the standardization level of key industries. They hold positive significance for promoting industrial upgrading, ensuring public safety, improving people's well-being, and advancing green development.
