Wedoany.com Report on Feb 12th, Kryton International recently announced that long-time sales executive John Anderson has been promoted to Vice President of Sales. Anderson has over 35 years of experience in the concrete industry, building a reputation as a technical expert and partner in the Western Canadian and U.S. markets. As Kryton continues to expand its international operations, this new role will strengthen the company's market coverage in North America.

Kari Yuers, President of Kryton, said: "John is a key member of the Kryton team. His technical leadership, market insight, and steadfast focus on long-term results have consistently driven our growth and strengthened our relationships throughout the industry."
Over the past 18 years, Anderson has held various positions at Kryton, contributing to the application and promotion of crystalline concrete technology. He has led efforts to increase awareness of crystalline waterproofing and durability solutions in several emerging markets. According to the company, under his guidance, some regional markets have achieved annual sales growth of 15% to 20%.
Anderson said: "When we first started, many markets knew very little about crystalline technology. Education has always been at the core of my work—helping customers understand when these products are applicable, how they perform, and how they contribute to building structures with lifespans exceeding 100 years."
Currently, approximately half of the projects in Anderson's portfolio serve large-scale industrial infrastructure, including Dry Dock 5 for the U.S. Navy at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. He also emphasizes the long-term durability value of smaller to medium-sized projects like municipal sidewalks and residential developments. Anderson has served two terms as a director for the British Columbia Concrete Association and continues to be involved with the Alberta Concrete Association and several technical committees.
Kryton's primary product lines include crystalline waterproofing admixtures such as Krystol Internal Membrane (KIM) and Hard-Cem. These materials react with the concrete matrix and environmental agents to form insoluble crystals, enhancing structural durability and waterproofing. The company also offers a 10-year warranty in select markets through its Krystol Assurance Program (KAP), covering site inspections, construction support, and post-construction guarantees.
Anderson stated: "Architects and engineers are under increasing pressure to design environmentally responsible works. We all have families; we all want a future. This means building infrastructure that can last for generations while minimizing embodied carbon as much as possible."
